A custom-built WordPress website can be extended to function as a full database of archival content—available to the artist/artist's estate via private login; able to be made available to other individuals by password-protected access or available on the public website. The material can be viewed online or assembled for catalogs or other materials. Filters can be created to find groups of work by various criteria and private collections can be assembled on the fly for viewing by curators and collectors.
Archiving's usefulness is not only for the legacy of an artist after they die. Artists who begin organizing their work in an archival structure early in their career benefit from the ease with which material can be organized and generated for exhibitions, sales, grants and publications.
Suited to artists/estates who are already using some archiving functionality and for those who are considering it.

Google ceased to support the old Universal Analytics early in August, 2023 and moved everyone over to GA4 (if they hadn't moved themselves already).
Right now, the data from the old Universal Analytics is still available but it will all be deleted by July 1, 2024.
This workshop is for people who have Universal Analytics data that they may want to keep. We'll look at what you lose or gain by various methods of downloading and/or exporting.
Suited to people who work their SEO (or who wish to).

You know your own work better than anyone but ChatGPT might be better at understanding how the way you write about it communicates to users on the web. This is a workshop for people who've tried or who might try using ChatGPT to help with writing better content for their websites, SEO, and other digital outreach. While we'll focus mainly on ChatGPT for the sake of time, we may also reference other AI tools like Midjourney and Perplexity.

Along with all competitive platforms, Google and Bing have been racing to incorporate new AI functionality into the search engine experience—in ways that affect some of the old tried and true search engine optimization strategies.
Not only that but people are increasingly using social media platforms like TikTok and Reddit to find the information they're wanting. And now there's Perplexity too. There'll be more changes by the time we have this workshop.
If you've paid any attention at all to search engine optimization in the past (or even if you're about to look at it now), this workshop will explore where things are at now (and we can look at how well set up your website is for search engine success).
