This client was a writer currently pitching a book who wanted a website which pulls all of her diverse writing together and also contains a blog—and she wanted something a little old-style with graphics.
We experimented a bit with the old-style graphics and finally settled on using a number of botanical graphics as a light touch throughout the website.
The website is otherwise focused on being a site for texts to read and we’ve kept the palette muted and calm to facilitate a pleasant reading experience.
