We designed this website for an artist whose crystal-based artwork is so intricate and detailed you absolutely need to view it close up (or in person) to appreciate it.
To enable both very close views of the artwork without subjecting every view to being a slow-download process, we created a website that shows the works first in smaller format with the option of zooming to a high-resolution image.
The website is very plain, by the client’s preference, and the most stunning experiences require a dedication to find (also by the client’s preference)—but when you get to the artwork, the experience is worth the steps (hint: zoom in on one of the images or go to the videos page).
