The old website was busy and crowded, with many text links making choice difficult.
The goal was to make it easy and delightful for people to find what they are looking for, using visual links to make choices easier.

The new, long homepage uses a more classic contemporary layout to foreground information of interest to potential museum visitors in many areas. Further information is easily available via the main navigation & footer. The banner could easily be a short video giving an impression of the experience of the museum.
