As a web designer I am often asked if I design in Flash. I can and do (my background is in film and video so this is actually a particularly enjoyable way of working for me) but I am extremely conservative about the degree to which I’ll use flash for a website. I’ve only twice (for reasons of the clients’ which made sense) made websites entirely in Flash. Often, however, I’ll incorporate Flash elements into a design in ways that add lightness to the experience without incurring the disadavantages that all-Flash websites tend to have (burdensome load times, search engines issues, iphone/ipad issues, etc).

If you are looking for a Flash designer, please feel free to contact me. Some things that you may think need Flash can be done in better ways. And where there are issues with Flash, I work hard to ensure that you will have a website that is problem-free as well as gorgeous. I keep loading time to a minimum and create work-arounds for the search engine issues.
