hamiltro website design is currently a one-person business although I occasionally work with associates on complex or rush projects.

Rohesia Hamilton Metcalfe is my name and I’ve been in business as a website designer since 2001. Before that I was working in website/database development for a non-profit organization (in a collaboration with IBM). My background is otherwise in experimental film and video art.

I write my own code, I am proficient in Photoshop and Flash, I can set you up with a content-management system to enable you to maintain your own website and I can set you up for e-commerce.

I don’t use templates at all. Every website I design grows from ideas associated with you and your business. My services include establishing your website on a reliable and well-priced server and providing ongoing maintenance and search engine optimization if required.

I’m physically based in New York City, but as you can see from my portfolio, my clients are from all over — including several in my native New Zealand. Some of the websites I’ve designed have been done with only email and phone contact.
